I chose to use the Album cover of the recently released Album of G Herbo PTSD. I used this art because it’s message is very deep. G Herbo being a Chicago rapper is informed about the topic of death as he witnessed so much of it through out his life. He talked about not even grieving anymore when death would come around, but instead try to only find reason behind it. The art shows G Herbo holding and American flag with bullet holes in it and instead of 50 stars, the flag has 50 faces of friends and family that has passed away close to him. He did this to show tribute to them as one of the faces was a familiar to most people being Juice Wrld, but also as a message on how we tear our own country apart due to violence we create. We are destroying our country through violence which is why the flag is ripped and laced with bullet holes. This is not just a cover this is true art and sends a specific and important message to the audience.
